At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cholula and set off to the state of Tlaxcala to La Malinche National Park and set off on a 6-hour hiking route.
During our hike, we’ll cover a total of 2.4 to 3.10 mi (4 to 5 km), reaching a maximum elevation of approximately 2361 ft (3800 m), with an elevation gain of 434 ft (700 m) and a technical difficulty level ranging from beginner to intermediate. Without a doubt, this route through pine and fir forests is ideal for those with no high-altitude hiking experience.
On our hike, we'll make a stop in an area called Los Arenales, where we can rest and enjoy the views. From there, we'll have a much closer look at the summit of La Malinche volcano.
If the weather is good, we'll have the chance to see the chain of volcanoes: Citlaltépetl, Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl - it's like something out of a movie!
Lastly, we'll head back down to the hostel to get into the vehicles and return to Cholula. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled 13 hours after pickup.
