If you want to see a real traditional Mexican show, don't miss this fantastic Lucha Libre wrestling show at the Arena Puebla.
Tour Options
During the booking process, you can choose between two different options. Both begin in front of the Hotel Posada XVII, in the historic center of Puebla, and include admission to the Arena Puebla stadium. Please read the details of each tour below:
Lucha Libre Tour + Ticket (4 Hours)
We'll meet at 7 pm and begin this tour, where you'll discover all the secrets of Mexican lucha libre. First, we'll head to the district of Parian to browse amazing craft and street food stalls, and taste delicious Mexican snacks such as tacos or chalupas.
To get a feel for the local culture, we will go to the Santos Remedios bar, where you will taste an authentic cured 'pulque', known as the drink of the gods. You will hear all about the tradition of Lucha Libre, its origins, and its similarities to Greco-Roman wrestling. If you wish, you can even have your picture taken wearing an original wrestling mask.
Then, at 9 pm, we will enter the imposing Arena Puebla stadium to watch a fight in the VIP area or the general area. This venue was opened in 1953 and has seen battles between celebrities like Cavernario Galingo and El Verdugo, true pioneers of the sport. You will experience the euphoria of the fans and the adrenaline of the acrobatic wrestling moves, inches from your face.
Finally, the activity concludes back at your hotel in Cholula at 11 pm.
Lucha Libre Tour + VIP Ticket (4 Hours)
In this case, we'll follow the same itinerary previously described, but you'll have the chance to enjoy the lucha libre show in the stadium's VIP area. It's the most exclusive way to see the show!
With this option, you'll also have a tasting of chalupas, cemitas, and beer included during the show.
Seating Areas in Arena Puebla
