We had an amazing day exploring Combu Island with Jefferson. He was an excellent guide - friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the island. The trip was relaxed and really informative and felt very authentic. One of the highlights was visiting a local resident, an elderly gentleman who has appeared on Brazilian television, who demonstrated how fresh Brazil nuts are prepared. It was fascinating to see the traditional process first-hand and to meet someone with such deep knowledge.
