San Miguel de Allende Day Trip

We'll meet at 5:30 am in the morning at Hotel Benidorm in Mexico City to begin our day trip to San Miguel de Allende, one of Mexico's most beautiful colonial cities. The journey by minibus will take around four hours.

Upon arrival, we'll visit the La Gruta thermal spa. You'll spend 5 hours enjoying the outdoor medicinal pools and the underground water of a cave at your leisure. The water here can get as warm as 40 degrees Celsius!

With the body relaxed, we'll go to the center of San Miguel de Allende. This World Heritage City will surprise you with its beautiful and well-kept historic center. We'll have the opportunity to see the Church of St. Michael the Archangel with its pinnacles and neo-Gothic structure, the imposing Casa del Mayorazgo de la Canal, as well as the baroque, rococo, and churrigueresque style façade of the Temple of San Francisco.

Afterward, we'll visit the handicraft market, full of stalls where we'll find objects made of wool, quarry, papier-mâché, glass, ceramics and stone. You won't be able to resist taking home a souvenir!

Before returning, we'll leave you an hour of free time to finish exploring San Miguel de Allende and have lunch at a local restaurant.

Finally, we'll head back to Mexico City, where we're scheduled to arrive at the meeting point at 11 pm.
