Tour Details
Good morning! Would you like to experience the magic of Los Cabos at sunrise? We’ll pick you up at your hotel and head into the historic center of San José del Cabo to take in its serene atmosphere as the sun rises.
We’ll make our first stop at San José's main beach, where we will spend about 1.5 hours. It’s the perfect spot to watch the day awaken over the horizon. Afterward, we’ll head to the iconic Los Cabos letters.
Next, we’ll go in search of the San José del Cabo letters, painted with typical motifs of Baja California Sur, including whales, desert flora, and religious references. We’ll also visit the church of the San José del Cabo Mission, founded in 1730 by the Jesuits and rebuilt after periods of indigenous conflict and abandonment. We’ll analyze its late Baroque simplicity, the quarry stone walls, and the temple’s orientation.
A few steps away, we’ll stroll through Plaza Mijares, the town’s true civic center. We’ll observe porticos, balconies, and facades with colonial influences reinterpreted in a South Californian style. We’ll see its courtyards, shade, and proportions designed for the climate.
The experience will culminate at the Pescadito Break restaurant, where we’ll spend between 1 hour and 1.5 hours enjoying a breakfast of eggs cooked to order and a drink. Without a doubt, the best way to start the day is overlooking the Sea of Cortez.
We’ll wrap up the tour by taking you back to your hotel, where we’ll say goodbye after a 4-hour tour.
