Girona, Figueras & Cadaqués Day Trip
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Plaça d'Anna Lizaran in Barcelona and set off on this day trip to Girona, Figueres, and Cadaqués. Ready? Let's go!
Our first stop is Girona, where you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to explore one of the most impressive old towns in Catalonia at your own pace. Don't miss the famous Jewish quarter, one of the best preserved in Europe.
We'll then regroup and head to Figueres, an important transport hub connecting Spain and France. In this town in the Girona province, you'll have around 1.5 hours of free time to sample the gastronomy of the Alt Empordà region or explore at your leisure.
Next, we'll make our way to Cadaqués, one of the most beautiful villages on the Costa Brava. White houses, sea, and mountains come together in this charming fishing village that is sure to win you over completely. On arrival, we'll wander through its narrow alleyways and walk up to the Church of Santa Maria.
Finally, 11 hours after setting off, we'll say our goodbyes back at the starting point in Barcelona.
Admission to the Dalí Museum
If you wish, during the booking process, you'll also have the option to select a day trip with admission to the Dalí Museum. In this case, during your free time, you'll be able to access this site built over the city's old theatre, which houses the largest collection of Salvador Dalí's works.
The visit to the museum lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes. Your guide will accompany you to the museum, where they will lead a guided tour of around 15 to 20 minutes. The rest of the time will be yours to explore the exhibits at your own pace and/or re-energise with some local cuisine.
After this time, we'll meet up again with the rest of the group to continue the day trip.
Please note that the Dalí Museum is closed on Mondays.
